We made some updates to the email marketing API.  Added eight new api’s that can be used. They include pausecampaign, resumecampaign, retryerrorcampaign, deletecampaign, deletetrigger, deleterecurringcampaign, deletewhois, deleteemailbyemailid More details on these API calls can be found in the API tab in your account.

Velocity Software announces our  new List Verify service!

In building the ultimate marketing platform we now have a list verification service built into the system found under the List Verify tab.

With this service you can clean your lists and help keep your reputation secure.  This is beneficial if you are data broker or have some older data or new data from a new source.

Easy to use system. Just upload your list and the system will begin some of the most extensive checks in the industry. We offer real list verification intelligence to protect your IP reputation and delivery rates.

Campaign Triggers a new email marketing feature has been added to our software. We have added the option to setup triggers for a campaign when creating a campaign or create A/B campaign under advanced settings. Trigger rules are created under the Campaign Triggers area in the email marketing tab. Triggers can be based on a view or click. For clicks can be a specific link or any link in the message. After choosing an action you have the option to setup a message to send based on a time period of days, weeks, months or instantly after the action is completed.

We are now recording the user agent used for each request when a link is clicked inside an email marketing campaign.

With this information you can determine if a click came from desktop, tablet, mobile device.  What browser the user is using and that data can is valuable for your campaign strategy. You can also use this information to help discover bots from your list and suppress those individuals.

We are also working on coming up with reports /graphs based upon this data as well.

Added a couple new api functions for email marketing. These api’s include getlistfields, sendsingleemail, addemail, deletelist, deletemessage, deleteimage Check the API tab in your account for more information/usage instructions.

Also looking for feedback and or suggestions for other API’s that you may find useful in your third party applications.

Forward to a friend feature now added in email marketing.  In the message editor there is now an icon to insert the forward to a friend link. When a user clicks that link they are taken to a page to enter a recipient’s email address. Also under view campaign detail the number of forwards is displayed which allows you to see how many people are forwarding your campaign message

A new update to the CRM/leads system. You can now create labels for leads with color coding supported! An easy way to classify and spot the leads you are looking for.

Added a new feature to creating campaigns for email marketing.  The option to randomize a list. To do this under create campaign or create A/B campaign click on advanced settings and check the “Randomize List” option.  One of the benefits of this feature is when you have a list with many emails going to  one domain in a row the system will randomize the order which reduces the connections and adds a time delay.  This is another feature that may help improve the delivery in your marketing campaigns.

What a week we have rolled over seven new major updates to the software in the past eight days!

Newest update just rolled out last night was domain rotation groups. You can now setup a group domains like ip addresses to rotate when sending a campaign. One aspect to keep in mind please ensure that any domain that you are rotating is also pointed to the ip address that you are using for best delivery results.

Also in the last couple days we added three other new buttons to the message editor when setting up an email campaign.

1. You can now insert a view as webpage link anywhere inside your message.

2. A new button to insert an image from imagehosting into your message. You no longer have to go back and forth between image hosting to find the image url to insert into your message. Just select an image and it is inserted into your email marketing message.

3.  Easy to insert personalized fields. New button that allows you to select a list then click on a column inside the list which then inserts that column name inside the message to allow you to personalize the message piece.

New feature added Social Sharing Icons can now be inserted into email marketing campaigns.  In the message editor there are now easy to insert social share buttons for the following social networking sites: Facebook, Twitter,  LinkedIn, Google+. In addition also under view campaign you can see the total shares when using the social networking sharing icons. And on the view campaign page as well there is sharing codes links for all the popular social networking websites.
